Susan DePue

Susan DePue has been a successful entrepreneur since 1986, and since that time has enjoyed continued success in the insurance brokerage industry, helping business owners design benefit plans to attract and retain employees cost-effectively. As a corporate advisor, however, Susan's own business development experiences, and her insight into the common bonds between all business owners soon landed her in the role of coach with many clients, and laid way to her next business venture, A.C.T. Coaching Group in 1998.

Most recently, Susan has become a trendsetter by leading her own team to develop a new corporation, pooling the resources of both enterprises. Her new venture, Beneffects, paves the way for companies to provide not just top of the market benefits, but the invaluable advantage of a visionary, focused management team. Beneffects is a full spectrum benefits brokerage and business consulting provider, benefiting both employers and their teams with security, direction, profitability and personal fulfillment.

Frequently, Susan speaks nationally to groups and conventions, including the National Association of Women Business Owners annual meeting in Detroit. She enjoys leadership of groups that promote the success of women in business, including her current position as Educational Chairperson for the Nashville Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, and was past president of both the CLU Society and the Middle Tennessee Association of Health Underwriters. She is a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst and a Certified Professional Values Analyst.

Susan graduated Trevecca Nazarene University with a degree in Mathematics, became a licensed insurance agent in 1981, and has earned her Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designation from the American College.

Rouella Smith

Rouella Smith was born in 1976 in Manila, Philippines and relocated to Lexington, TN at age 9, and Nashville at age 21. She has been with Beneffects since 1998, and shortly after she received her insurance license. Rouella is a Lipscomb University graduate with a degree in Professional Accountancy. She is uniquely qualified as a troubleshooter, drilling quickly and efficiently to the root of any insurance issue.

Rouella enjoys playing pool, bowling and stamp collecting. Because her husband, Chad Smith, drags her to the Nashville Predators' hockey games, she has grown to be a true Predators fan. On September 26, 2002, a new addition to Rouella's family arrived - Alyxis Lee Smith was born.
